Male identification: Small yellow and black dragonfly with bright green eyes, superficially similar to a Gomphid. Thorax with three parallel yellow markings: one mid-dorsal line and antehumerals. Abdomen ringed with yellow markings and very thin. Characterstically held aloft and arched down towards the tip which is yellow. |

Similar species: Cannot be mistaken for other Libellulids but superficially similar to Gomphids. |

Distribution: At least one record in far north-east Victoria. |
