A widespread and abundant petrel in all the world's oceans, Wilson's Storm Petrels were recorded mainly on day 2 over the continental slope in water between about 100m and 500m deep, the largest group being 4 birds. Individuals were also recorded on the northern edge of Scott Reef and south of Scott Reef on the return leg (day 7).
