| Six encounters with
seven individuals. Birds were recorded most days, but only in
small numbers, usually in shelf-slope waters.
Like Matsudaira's Storm Petrel, this species
breeds off Japan, China and Russia in the far western Pacific
and spends the boreal winter in the southern hemisphere off
Australia.
