Very large numbers recorded in waters near to
Broome and the Lacapedes, where populations breed. Only once
otherwise recorded at sea, on the continental slope south of Scott
Reef.
Flock sizes were up to 140 birds (average 30).
Often recorded in association with small numbers of Common Tern.
