Four birds recorded near the continental shelf in
water about 100m deep (largest group size =2), associating with feeding flocks of Streaked
Shearwaters and terns including Sooty Tern and Common Noddy.
Several small shearwaters seen were not
identified to species including one regarded as a possible
Audubon's Shearwater, a species that breeds in the central and
western Indian Ocean.
