Largest numbers recorded near Broome but other birds also recorded on the continental slope south of Scott Reef and on the southern slopes of Ashmore Reef. Observations generally of small flocks (1-5 birds), often in association with Roseate Terns, but one flock of about 20 birds was recorded near Broome.
