encounters with 31 individuals. Recorded often in water
over about 500m deep, especially to the north of Scott Reef on
day 3. Most birds were seen singly and the largest group size
was 2 birds (orange dot).
Birds recorded off Australia are probably
post-breeding individuals originating from colonies on islands
in the the far western pacific.
