A common and widespread species recorded every day
but largest numbers over the shelf near Broome but also over the
shelf edge and near the islands.
A total of 363 birds in group sizes ranging from
1-50 were recorded at sea. Over 1000 birds were recorded at Middle
Island, Ashmore Reef.
