AES was commissioned by the
Department of Primary Industry to process and supply
data for oil spill response mapping in Port Phillip
Bay. An extensive dataset collected for the Port
of Melbourne Corporation's Channel Deepening Project
was reanalysed using standard methods to provide an
Index of Vulnerability to Surface Pollutants. These
data were then mapped as areas of high and low
vulnerability.
