AES was asked to do an
environmental impact assessment for a residential
development at the edge of Seaford Wetlands, after
it was called by the Victorian Civil
Administrative Tribunal . A complete
assessment of ecological values was done, along
with an impact and risk assessment of specific
construction and operational aspects of the
proposed development. A management plan was
written so that residual impacts could be
concluded. The information gathered for the
process was heard at a VCAT and the development
was approved, with conditions, by the State and
Federal authorities.
